Reynolds Career, Employment and Transfer Center recently brought
in nearly 50 hiring businesses to Burnette
Hall on the Parham Road Campus while hosting its Fall Job Fair.
“It’s
a win-win for businesses that are hiring and for our students that might be
looking for a job or will be in the market of looking for a job in the near
future,” said Counselor/Assistant Professor Robin Crawford Beale, M.A. “As a college we have an obligation to get hiring employers in front of
our students and to do everything we can do to help them get a job. That’s the
main reason students come to Reynolds. To eventually get a job.”
The job fair gave students and the general
public the opportunity to meet face-to-face with local, regional and national
employers and connected participants to employers from a variety of industries,
including business (sales and marketing), accounting, health care, technology,
and more.
The Reynolds Career, Employment and Transfer Center plans to hold
another job fair in the spring.
