At a signing ceremony on
October 31 Randolph-Macon College President Robert R. Lindgren announced that
the college has a Guaranteed Admission Agreement (GAA) with Reynolds Community
College. The agreement provides promising graduates of Reynolds with a seamless
transition from their two-year associate degree programs into the four-year
baccalaureate program at R-MC.
R-MC College hosted the
signing ceremony with Reynolds President Gary Rhodes and R-MC President Robert
R. Lindgren. “Randolph-Macon College is committed to the success of each and
every student,” says President Robert R. Lindgren. “We are delighted that this
program provides talented Reynolds students the opportunity to transfer to
R-MC, and we look forward to welcoming them into our Yellow Jacket family.”
Rhodes says the partnership is a win-win situation.
“I can think of no better way
to illustrate the importance of collaboration,” says Rhodes. “Working together,
our two institutions offer students a wealth of opportunity. I am pleased to
tell our students that they can further their education at Randolph-Macon
College. This is a tremendous incentive for Reynolds students to plan ahead,
work hard, and set their sights on the benefits of an R-MC education.”
